Our Mission
Our goal is to build a strong academic foundation and develop necessary life skills. Our program gives children enriching opportunities to develop physically, socially, emotionally, creatively, and intellectually. This is achieved in a safe and loving environment with caregivers who are dedicated to enriching children’s lives. TLC Kids Way seek to give young children a Christian education by offering a strong Christian atmosphere and faith based curriculum to build the leaders of tomorrow.
Our Programs
We are a ministry of The Life Church. All of our programs are Licensed through Texas Health and Human Services. We follow guidelines assigned to us under the Texas Minimum Standards for Child Care Centers. We offer several programs for your family.
Preschool (2 years to prek 4)
Our Preschool program gives children enriching opportunities to develop physically, socially, emotionally, creatively and intellectually. This is achieved in a safe and loving faith based environment with caregivers who are dedicated to enriching children's lives. Our classrooms use a faith based curriculum to help achieve academic excellence in helping to get your child ready to begin Kindergarten. This program is offered 7:00am to 5:30pm year round.
after school care (kinder to 5TH grade)
Our After School Care program is available for the students of TLCA Elementary school. We offer a safe and fun environment for your child at the end of the school day. We provide a time to play, have a snack, a Bible lesson and do some homework. This program is offered until 6:00pm on school days. Since we are located on campus at The Life Church no transportation is involved, we have staff available to get your child directly from school each day.
Summer camp (kinder to 5TH grade)
Our Summer Camp is offered during the weeks that TLCA is out for the summer. We have a large variety of activities, Bible lessons and field trips all summer long. We serve a breakfast snack, lunch and an afternoon snack. We also work on tutoring in match and reading so that students can retain the information they have learned and can be ready when school resumes in the fall. We have everything from skating, bowling, movies to nature center, water play (including swimming), color wars and science experiments. There is no telling what fun and creative idea's we will have next!
